Simply Sweet Granola
* no refined sugar or butter added & cheaper and healthier than the packaged stuff!
-2 cups gluten-free oats
-3 tbsp ground flax seed
-1 tsp cinnamon
-3 tbsp safflower oil
-2 tbsp maple syrup
Mix all ingredients listed above in a bowl. Pour and spread on oil sprayed baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. At 10 minutes, turnover mixture to prevent uneven baking. After oat mixture is done baking, let cool. Store in large zip-lock bag or container.
**Mix in 1/4 cup raisins/craisins and 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds (or 5-7 pieces protein crunch) for extra flavour!
