Cinnamon Raisin Sweet Potato Bagel
A healthy, low-fat, protein filled bagel??? It is true and here it is my fit and fabulous friends...
*Recipe makes 6 bagels*
***Approximate macros per bagel: 20grams carbs, 1-2grams fat, 16-17grams protein!
-3 scoops chocolate or vanilla whey protein
-1/2 cup mashed cooked sweet potato (cold)
-1/4 cup egg whites
-1 cup oat flour (wheat-free)
-2 tsp baking powder
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-2 tsp cinnamon
-1/3 cup sultana raisins
Mix all ingredients in large bowl as listed. With a spoon, place batter into sprayed donut pan.
Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes until slightly brown.
Let bagels cool, remove from pan with a knife and flip them over for best presentation!
You can also cut the holes all the way through so that they look more like 'bagels'.
